§ 01 Agreement
By providing your phone number and opting in to receive SMS messages from Molly's Owl Facts, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not opt in.
§ 02 Nature of the Service
Molly's Owl Facts operates a personal, non-commercial home SOC lab for security research and infrastructure learning. The SMS alerting service sends automated system notifications — such as security alerts, health checks, and threshold events — to the authorized lab operator. This is not a commercial messaging service and is not offered to the general public.
§ 03 Eligibility
SMS opt-in is available only to the authorized lab operator. By opting in, you confirm that you are the authorized operator of the Molly's Owl Facts SOC lab infrastructure.
§ 04 Message Content & Frequency
Messages are automated system alerts generated by internal lab monitoring and orchestration systems (including but not limited to n8n, Elasticsearch alerting, and custom scripts). Message frequency is variable and dependent on system activity. There is no guaranteed minimum or maximum number of messages per day.
§ 05 Costs
Molly's Owl Facts does not charge for the SMS alerting service. However, standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply. Contact your carrier for details.
§ 06 Opt-Out
You may opt out at any time. After opting out, you will receive a single confirmation message and no further alerts will be sent. To re-subscribe, you must explicitly opt back in.
Reply STOP to any SMS message to unsubscribe immediately. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact admin@mollysowlfacts.com.
§ 07 Supported Carriers
This service uses Twilio for SMS delivery. Message delivery is not guaranteed to all carriers or in all geographic areas. Molly's Owl Facts is not responsible for delays or failures caused by carrier network conditions.
§ 08 Disclaimer
This service is provided "as-is" for personal, non-commercial use. Molly's Owl Facts makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding message delivery, timeliness, or the accuracy of alert content. System alerts reflect the state of internal monitoring systems and should not be relied upon as the sole source of operational truth.
§ 09 Changes
These terms may be updated at any time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the SMS alerting service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
